WHO ARE INTEGRATION EXPERTS?
People who have successfully adapted after moving to Finland and have received special training from SVK Liitto to support immigrants. They are familiar with the adaptation process and are willing to share their experience and knowledge.
HOW DO THEY HELP?
Our integration experts are oriented towards the modern support system and are guided by ethical principles. They use reliable sources of information to provide integration support. They share their experiences of life in Finland, including everyday aspects, traditions, cultural characteristics, and customs. This helps new immigrants to better understand the environment and improve their adaptation.
HOW DO CONSULTATIONS WORK?
Consultations can be either one-time (question/answer) or long-term, depending on your needs. Communication with a mentor remains confidential and free of unsolicited advice. Mentors are here to help you navigate current issues related to integration and adaptation.
Integration experts work upon request, focusing only on topics that are genuinely important to you. They may suggest possible solutions, but the final decision is always yours. The integration expert’s role is to support you and provide information to empower you to independently navigate your journey.
