VOLUNTEERING
Volunteering is a great way to support others, meet new people, and get actively involved in causes that are important and interesting to you. It’s a way to give your time and energy to something that matters to the community or a specific group of people.
Volunteering is not a full-time job or professional practice. It does not involve receiving a salary or official employment and is aimed at voluntarily and gratuitously helping those in need or supporting various initiatives and projects.
For ease of search, we have divided volunteers into 2 groups:
Providing information assistance for those who have just moved to Finland.
Individually and in groups
Counselors who have the same diagnosis or experience as the client. Having successfully dealt with the situation, peer counselors are willing to share their experience.
Individual consultations
Russian-speaking psychologists and teachers who received their education and experience before moving to Finland are ready to share their knowledge and help.
Индивидуально и в группах (lectures)
Learning a foreign language and simultaneously learning your native language with the same person. For example, Russian-Finnish.
Communication in pairs (without registration on the site)
Support Group Leaders
Conducting support groups in Russian on various topics:
- mothers of special children
- elderly relatives
etc.
Assistance in organizing and holding cultural, sports, educational and other events.
